Growing up my next door neighbor was an elderly paleontologist with stacks of old National Geographic magazines in his basement. He used to show me old dinosaur bones and let me look through those magazines. I hoped to someday have adventures traveling and meeting the people I saw in the pages. After finishing college I was able to talk my way into a job in the equipment room at National Geographic where I learned all about using cameras and developed a love for filmmaking. I am based in Brooklyn and on the Connecticut River freelancing as a cinematographer and director with a background in documentary storytelling. Some past clients include: Samsung, Adidas, National Geographic, New Balance, Netflix, Chevy and Facebook. I'm also a licensed FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot and a member of ICG Local 600. My film The Unconditional was nominated for a Critic’s Choice Documentary Award in 2019.
